Vintage WWII Senior Pilot Wings Sterling Silver USAAF Military Aviation Insignia 2 Inch Pilot Badge

This vintage WWII Senior Pilot wing is a full sterling silver U.S. Army Air Forces aviation badge in the smaller approximately 2-inch format. Finely detailed spread wings flank the distinctive vertically lined Pilot shield, while the five-point star above the center denotes the Senior Pilot rating. Its compact size and sharply struck design give the badge strong appeal as both wartime military aviation insignia and a collectible example of period sterling military jewelry.
