The approximately 8¾-inch square form is documented as the Square Divided Vegetable Bowl from Winfield's Oats (Cream Background) dinnerware line, featuring a warm ivory cream interior accented by delicate sweeping green oat sprays and a contrasting rich green exterior. The sculptural square shape, softly rounded corners and integrated center divider give this serving piece the clean, organic character prized in Mid Century Modern American dinnerware.

Produced by Winfield China in California, this substantial two-section bowl is ideal for vegetables, side dishes, relishes, fruit, snacks or holiday entertaining while also appealing to collectors of Winfield pottery, California ceramics and vintage American tableware. Two areas along the rim may initially appear chipped in photographs because the cream interior glaze extends slightly farther down over the green exterior at those points; both are original glaze/decorating variations and not chips. The glossy surfaces and delicate oat decoration remain especially attractive.
