Standing approximately 3 1/4 inches tall, the compact vase has a rounded, gently shouldered form accented by softly faceted sides and a rolled circular rim. The underside is hand incised with the distinctive Van Briggle double-A logo and Colorado Springs identification, along with the designation ‘V5’ and the initials ‘G.P.,’ a documented Van Briggle marking associated with Gail Pache. Although produced decades after the company's earliest Arts and Crafts period, the vase continues Van Briggle's longstanding tradition of hand-finished forms and distinctive matte glazes.
