Beautiful vintage clear glass rhinestone dress trim featuring four rows of sparkling faceted stones individually prong set in flexible open-back metal settings. Repeating decorative rhinestone motifs expand the banding at intervals, giving this vintage garment embellishment considerably more visual impact than ordinary straight rhinestone chain. Originally kept with dressmaking supplies, these three surviving lengths offer a wonderful supply of authentic vintage rhinestone trim for sewing, clothing restoration, formalwear, theatrical costuming and creative design projects.

The lot includes three sections measuring approximately 22 3/8 inches, 11 3/4 inches and 5 7/8 inches long, for a combined total of 40 inches. The four-row band measures approximately 9/16 inch wide, expanding to approximately 15/16 inch across the decorative motifs. The clear faceted glass rhinestones are individually held in aged metal settings, retaining plenty of brilliance and sparkle.

These are vintage sewing remnants and show age and use. The longest section has one missing rhinestone. The 11 3/4-inch section has two small areas where the original connecting threads have loosened/separated; the sections remain together and can be secured when sewn onto a garment or project.
