Vintage Red Wing Pottery Lexington Rose Dinner Plate 10.5 Inch Concord Mid Century USA
1941–1955 American art pottery with large red pink roses, green foliage, rounded square Concord form and collectible red Red Wing backstamp; vintage floral dinnerware, cottage décor and wall display
$24.95
Large painterly roses command attention on this vintage Red Wing Pottery dinner plate in the collectible Lexington pattern, also widely searched as Lexington Rose. Produced from 1941 through 1955 for Red Wing’s Concord dinnerware line, Lexington pairs dramatic floral decoration with the softly rounded square form characteristic of this distinctive American pottery series. Two overlapping red to rosy-pink roses and broad green foliage create a particularly strong example of the pattern against the warm creamy ground.
Measuring approximately 10½ inches across, this substantial plate appeals to Red Wing collectors as well as buyers seeking vintage American dinnerware, mid-century floral pottery, cottage and grandmillennial décor, or a decorative botanical plate for a wall, hutch or cabinet display. The underside retains its original red Red Wing backstamp, an identifying detail of particular interest to collectors of Red Wing pottery and its different marks and production variations.
The plate remains in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Very light crazing is visible on close examination. The rose decoration remains vivid and presents beautifully.
