Vintage Red Wing Potteries USA 395 Pink Spice Bread Tray Pedestal Serving Dish Hand Painted Floral Butterfly 1950s Anniversary Line American Art Pottery Red Mark

A wonderfully sculptural piece from Red Wing Potteries' celebrated Anniversary dinnerware line, this vintage shape #395 pedestal bread tray is decorated in the colorful Pink Spice pattern. Introduced as part of Red Wing's 1950s Anniversary line, Pink Spice combines pink and red blossoms with green and yellow foliage and a cheerful yellow butterfly against a warm ivory ground. The distinctive molded crosshatch texture and dramatically upswept ends give the tray additional visual depth, while its raised oval pedestal creates a striking Mid Century profile.

Measuring approximately 11 inches long by 7¼ inches wide, shape #395 is an uncommon serving form compared with the more frequently encountered Pink Spice plates, cups and standard dinnerware pieces.
