Vintage Pyrex Butterprint 501 Refrigerator Dish Turquoise Rooster Corn 1½ Cup

1950s Mid Century Amish Butterprint milk glass fridge container, classic aqua blue farm motif, collectible Corning kitchenware, small 1.5 cup Oven Refrigerator storage dish, made in USA, lid missing

$27.00

One of the most recognizable designs in vintage Pyrex, this small #501 refrigerator dish features the classic turquoise-on-white Butterprint pattern introduced during the 1950s. The 1½-cup #501 is especially charming because its two decorated sides feature the stylized rooster surrounded by corn stalks and small star-like accents rather than the farmer-and-wife imagery used on larger Butterprint refrigerator dishes. Collectors also search for this beloved Mid Century pattern as Amish Butterprint, Rooster & Corn and Buttercup.

Made in the USA, the white opal glass container has the compact rounded rectangular form associated with Pyrex 500 Series Oven Refrigerator dishes. Its bright turquoise farm graphics make it an appealing piece for Pyrex and vintage kitchenware collectors as well as retro, farmhouse and Mid Century kitchen décor. It measures approximately 4 3/16 inches wide and 2 9/16 inches tall.

No chips or cracks were found, and the turquoise graphics remain attractive and well defined. The pattern appears on both long sides while the two short sides are undecorated. Please review the photographs for the surface condition associated with vintage use. This listing is for the refrigerator dish only; its original clear glass lid is not included.
