Vintage Homer Laughlin Harlequin Yellow 9.25 Inch Dinner Plate Original HLC Pottery
Original Harlequin Yellow glaze with classic concentric ring design, early American dinnerware by Homer Laughlin, 1930s 1940s Art Deco kitchen collectible and replacement plate
$17.95
Harlequin dinner plate features the original Harlequin Yellow glaze, a distinctive bright saturated yellow developed specifically for the Harlequin line. Introduced in the 1930s, Harlequin became one of Homer Laughlin’s most recognizable dinnerware lines, combining streamlined concentric rings with strong solid colors that appeal today to collectors of HLC pottery, vintage kitchenware, Depression-era dinnerware, and colorful Art Deco tableware.
Measuring approximately 9.25 inches in diameter, this dinner plate has the characteristic Harlequin form with its broad rim and multiple concentric rings surrounding the center well. The underside is unmarked, consistent with examples from early Harlequin production. Its original Harlequin Yellow glaze provides the vivid period color that makes individual pieces especially attractive for display, collection building, replacement dinnerware, or mixing with other original Harlequin colors.
The plate presents beautifully overall, but there is a small chip along the edge, visible in the photographs. Please review the close-up images for its size and location. The strong original color and classic ringed form remain visually striking despite this condition issue.
