Vintage Fanny Farmer Candy Box Old Time Candies Rochester NY Advertising Box Statue of Liberty Homestead Paper Ephemera 1930s Display

Original vintage Fanny Farmer candy box featuring the desirable "Old Time Candies" design with the classic portrait logo, making it an attractive piece of American advertising history as well as a beautiful decorative display box. The lid retains its rich sepia graphics while the sides are illustrated with a Homestead scene, the Statue of Liberty, Rochester, New York studio information, and the slogan "Always Deliciously Fresh," giving every side visual interest for display. The typography, artwork, and "Trade Marks Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." marking are consistent with an early twentieth-century production, most likely dating to the late 1920s or 1930s.

Measuring approximately 6.25 inches long, 3 5/8 inches wide, and 2.25 inches tall, this original paperboard box remains structurally sound with both lid and base present. It displays honest age toning, scattered light surface wear, minor corner wear and small edge splits consistent with age, while the interior remains clean and well preserved. The original patina has been left untouched to preserve its authentic vintage character.

This box comes from my maternal grandmother's long-preserved family collection, where it was used to store cherished family letters for many decades. Although originally made for Fanny Farmer candies, its survival as a complete decorative box with appealing graphics on every side makes it an outstanding collectible for advertising enthusiasts, Rochester, New York collectors, early paper packaging collectors, farmhouse and general store décor, photography props, and displays of vintage Americana. Original Fanny Farmer packaging with this level of display appeal is becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in complete condition.
