Step back into the golden age of American travel with this charming vintage Cape Cod souvenir accordion fold postcard booklet published by E. D. West Co. of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. Designed as both a souvenir and a mailable postcard, this petite folding folio unfolds into sixteen beautifully colorized photographic views showcasing many of Cape Cod's best-known landmarks, landscapes, and coastal traditions.

Among the scenes are the oldest windmill on Cape Cod, Provincetown Harbor, cranberry harvesting, historic Cape Cod homes, Falmouth streets, Chatham, antique shops, sailing vessels, and picturesque coastal landscapes. The reverse side continues with additional scenic views accompanied by the complete poem "The Land of Heart's Desire" by John Chipman, adding period literary appeal to this delightful travel keepsake. The original triangular folding cover depicting "Cape Cod Folks" remains intact, along with the unused mailing panel addressed for postage, preserving the booklet exactly as it would have been purchased by a visitor decades ago.

The folded booklet measures approximately 4¼ inches by 3 1/16 inches. All sixteen scenic panels are present with no missing sections. Condition is very good vintage condition with light age toning, minor edge and corner wear, and a small crease visible on one folding cover panel consistent with careful handling over the years. The accordion folds remain sound, the colors remain vibrant, and the booklet displays beautifully both folded and fully extended.

This souvenir comes from my paternal great grandmother's collection of carefully preserved keepsakes and travel memorabilia, adding a documented family provenance that complements its vintage appeal. Whether displayed alongside antique postcards, Cape Cod memorabilia, New England travel ephemera, or early American tourism collectibles, this complete accordion booklet offers exceptional charm in a compact format.
