Vintage Blue White Beaded Bangle Bracelet Hand Wrapped Seed Bead Jewelry

Native American Made Seed Beaded Bangle Blue and White Diagonal Row Design

$56.00

Vintage hand beaded bangle bracelet featuring alternating rows of soft blue and white seed beads wrapped in a continuous mid-century inspired pattern. The beadwork creates a rhythmic striped design that wraps around the entire bracelet, with subtle variation in spacing that suggests hand-applied construction rather than machine assembly.

The beading is composed of small rectangular seed beads measuring approximately 1.5 mm thick by 3 mm wide, arranged in tightly packed horizontal rows. The design primarily alternates between white bead rows and blue-and-white mixed rows, creating a layered striped effect with soft contrast between the colors.

One section of the bangle shows a denser grouping of white bead rows, where multiple white-only bands appear together before transitioning back into the alternating blue-and-white pattern. This area appears to mark the beginning and end point of the bead wrapping, adding subtle variation and character to the otherwise continuous design.

The soft blue tone is present throughout the mixed rows, offering a gentle but noticeable contrast against the white beads without appearing overly pale. The overall effect is clean, graphic, and slightly artisanal, with visible texture from the beadwork giving the bracelet dimensional surface interest.

Purchased in the early 1970s at a Native American Powwow, this bangle measures 3 5/16" outside diameter with a 2 1/2" inside diameter and is 7/16" wide. The proportions create a comfortable medium profile suitable for stacking or wearing as a standalone textured statement piece.
