$110.00
Art Deco design and unusual double-sided construction give this vintage brass bracelet exceptional character. Dating to approximately the 1920s–1930s, the bracelet features five dimensional hollow links decorated on both sides, creating a sculptural design that remains visually interesting as the bracelet naturally turns and moves on the wrist.
Each link is formed with a raised radiating pattern reminiscent of stylized sunbursts, fans or abstract foliage, reflecting the strong geometric vocabulary associated with Art Deco jewelry. The larger central link forms the focal point of the bracelet and incorporates small raised floral details within its radiating design. Four smaller double-sided links continue the geometric motif, while hollow tubular bar connectors create contrast between the larger decorative elements and give the bracelet an articulated, rhythmic composition.
The double-sided construction is an especially appealing feature. Rather than having plain backs, the dimensional links carry decorative designs on both sides, allowing the bracelet to display beautifully from virtually any angle. As the hollow elements move and gently touch one another, they produce a light tinkling sound that adds to the bracelet's distinctive vintage character.
The bracelet measures approximately 9 inches long with a maximum width of approximately 1 inch at the central link. The spring ring clasp can be attached to different connecting loops along the bracelet, allowing the fit to be adjusted while leaving the remaining section to dangle freely. This not only provides flexibility in wear but also creates additional movement and enhances the bracelet's delightful jingling quality.
The brass retains a warm, naturally aged patina with areas of darker toning and light surface wear consistent with age and previous use. It has been left unpolished to preserve its authentic vintage character. The spring ring clasp remains functional, and the articulated links move freely.
An unusual example of Art Deco brass jewelry, this bracelet combines geometric sunburst imagery, stylized floral details, articulated construction and a rarely seen fully decorated double-sided design. Its strong period aesthetic makes it an appealing addition to a collection of 1920s or 1930s jewelry, antique brass bracelets, geometric Art Deco accessories or distinctive early 20th-century costume jewelry.
