Vintage Anchor Hocking Fire-King Kimberly Orange Red Yellow Ombre Milk Glass Diamond Coffee Mug 1960s 1970s Retro Kitchen
Collectible American pressed milk glass cup with raised textured diamond pattern, fiery sunset gradient color and footed pedestal base; classic Mid Century Modern retro drinkware made in USA
$26.00
Fiery orange, red and golden yellow color gives this vintage Anchor Hocking Fire-King Kimberly mug considerably more visual impact than the quieter earth-tone versions of the pattern. Produced during the 1960s–1970s era, the Kimberly design combines rows of raised, heavily textured diamonds with a substantial footed base and rounded handle, all formed in white milk glass and finished with a dramatic graduated ombré color treatment. The result is unmistakably retro Fire-King and an excellent display piece for collectors of vintage Anchor Hocking, Mid Century Modern glassware, colorful 1960s and 1970s kitchenware, and American milk glass.
The underside carries the molded Anchor Hocking Fire-King OVEN-PROOF MADE IN U.S.A. mark. No chips or cracks were found. The mug shows some expected vintage finish wear, particularly along portions of the rim and raised decoration, along with scattered darker flecks or spots visible on the underside/base. Please review the photographs closely for the condition and appearance of this individual piece.
A colorful original example of one of Fire-King's most recognizable textured mug designs, with a strong orange-red-yellow palette that displays beautifully alongside other Kimberly colors or as a standalone piece of retro kitchen glass.
