Vintage Alamo Pottery Vase No 718 Seafoam Green Geometric Mid Century Modern Ceramic 8 3/8 Inch
Sculptural MCM art pottery with square mouth, angular faceted shoulders and rounded base in soft celadon seafoam green glaze; documented Alamo form 718 with distinctive streamlined modernist design
$89.00
Strong geometric lines and a softly luminous seafoam green glaze give this vintage Alamo Pottery vase an exceptionally clean Mid-Century Modern presence. Identified as Alamo form No. 718 through an exact documented shape match carrying the same impressed number, the vase features a square rectangular mouth that flows into sharply defined angular facets before transitioning into a softly rounded lower body. Subtle golden and warm-toned highlights along the raised edges accentuate the sculptural geometry of the form.
The vase stands approximately 8 3/8 inches tall. The base carries the impressed form number 718; the accompanying factory name or mark is present but too indistinct on this example to read confidently. The combination of streamlined form, celadon to seafoam green color and architectural profile makes this an appealing piece for collectors of Alamo pottery, vintage American art pottery, Mid-Century Modern ceramics, modernist pottery and 20th-century decorative design.
There are no chips or cracks. The glaze displays numerous small pores and pinholes from manufacture, visible throughout the surface and particularly apparent under close inspection, along with minor surface irregularities and a small area of glaze loss shown in the photographs. These characteristics have been photographed closely rather than concealed. Please review all images for the current and accurate condition of this vintage ceramic vase.
