Early American art glass meets brilliant uranium fluorescence in this beautiful matched pair of Jefferson Glass Company Iris pattern berry bowls, produced during the company's celebrated opalescent glass era around the turn of the twentieth century. The rich vaseline glass bodies glow vividly under ultraviolet light, while softly opalescent white rims create the dramatic color contrast that has made Jefferson's Iris pattern one of the most admired examples of early American decorative pressed glass. Crisp molded iris panels, flowing ornamental borders, and brilliant starburst bases give each bowl exceptional depth and sparkle from every angle.

Sold together as a matched pair, each bowl measures approximately 4 inches in diameter and just under 2 inches tall (approximately 1 7/8 inches).
