Vintage McCoy Pottery Turquoise Aqua Double Handle Art Deco Floral Vase 1940s American Art Pottery

Sculptural 7 Inch Gloss Glaze Ceramic Vase with Stylized Petal Form, Scalloped Rim and Curled Handles • USA Marked • Mid Century American Pottery • Excellent Vintage Condition

$109.00

A striking example of vintage American art pottery, this 1940s McCoy Pottery vase combines a vivid turquoise-aqua glaze with an unusually graceful sculptural form. The tall flared body is molded with sweeping stylized petals or leaves that rise toward the deeply scalloped rim, while a pair of slender open handles with curled terminals gives the vase an unmistakable Art Deco character. Its saturated glossy glaze and dramatic silhouette make it especially appealing for collectors of vintage McCoy, turquoise pottery and colorful American ceramics.

The architectural quality of the design is particularly attractive when viewed from different angles. Raised ribs define the individual petals and converge toward the narrow waist, while the flared pedestal base balances the broad flower-like opening above. Subtle variations and pooling within the glossy aqua glaze reflect the character of period pottery production. The underside has an unglazed foot ring and is impressed “USA.”

The vase stands approximately 7 inches tall. It remains in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing observed. A tiny dimple visible in the body appears to be an original manufacturing irregularity rather than subsequent damage. Please review the photographs closely for the glaze, form and condition of this beautiful vintage piece.

An especially decorative choice for collectors of McCoy Pottery, 1940s ceramics, Art Deco pottery, American art pottery, turquoise and aqua décor, vintage flower vases and sculptural ceramic design.
