$139.00

Authentic interwar United States Army enlisted service cap eagle insignia crafted to a higher standard than typical government-issued examples. Dating to approximately the 1920s through the early 1930s, this scarce private-purchase insignia features the iconic Great Seal eagle with raised "USA" lettering above the head, executed in a finely detailed miniature format. Unlike standard regulation insignia produced solely for military issue, private-purchase examples such as this were manufactured by respected jewelers and military outfitters using finer materials and superior finishing, making them especially desirable to collectors today.

This example is marked "10K TOP," indicating a 10-karat gold-faced construction over a base metal body, and also bears the elongated diamond "H" hallmark of H&H Manufacturing Company of Providence, Rhode Island, a highly regarded maker of premium American military insignia during the early twentieth century. The reverse retains its original open C-clasp fastener, a closure style consistent with pre-World War II manufacture.

Measuring approximately 3/4 inch wide by 1/2 inch tall, this miniature cap eagle displays exceptionally crisp feather detail, sharply defined lettering, and an attractive sculptural profile that reflects its quality construction. The 10K TOP finish remains bright and well preserved with only minor localized wear consistent with careful use over many decades. No repairs, breaks, or alterations were found, and the original clasp functions properly. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.

Interwar H&H insignia marked "10K TOP" are increasingly sought after by collectors of U.S. Army memorabilia, pre-World War II militaria, military uniforms, military headgear, and early American insignia. Combining a respected maker, original 10K TOP construction, desirable private-purchase quality, and outstanding preservation, this is an exceptional collector's example that would make an excellent addition to any advanced military collection.
