Authentic Cold War-era U.S. Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) qualification badge crafted in solid sterling silver by Hayward, one of the best-known manufacturers of American military insignia. Commonly known among collectors as the "EOD Crab," this iconic design combines a laurel wreath, aerial bomb, and lightning bolts to symbolize the specialized and dangerous work of explosive ordnance personnel. This badge measures approximately 1 15/16 inches wide by just over 1 inch tall and is clearly marked "HAYWARD STERLING" on the reverse.
