$118.95
Brilliant marigold iridescence and the scarce miniature form combine to make this antique Imperial Glass Morning Glory vase one of the more desirable examples of early American carnival glass. Introduced around 1910, the Morning Glory pattern is recognized for its graceful six-rib design, deeply ruffled rim and exceptional light play. Rich flashes of blue, violet, emerald, gold and rose shimmer across the surface, giving the vase dramatic color and depth from every viewing angle.
Unlike the standard Morning Glory vase, this is the sought-after miniature version, identified by its characteristic small base and elegant proportions. Imperial Glass collectors have long appreciated these miniatures for their relative scarcity, beautiful presentation and importance within one of the company's signature carnival glass patterns. Its sculptural silhouette makes it equally at home in an advanced carnival glass collection, an Early American Pressed Glass display, an antique art glass cabinet or a carefully curated Victorian or period-inspired interior.
Measuring approximately 6¾ inches tall, this premium example was carefully inspected and no chips, cracks or fleabites were found. Outstanding iridescence, excellent preservation and the rare miniature form place this vase among the finest collector-quality examples of Imperial's Morning Glory pattern and an exceptional addition to any serious antique glass collection.
