Vintage Duluth Minnesota Souvenir "Snap Shots" Photo Album Original Ribbon Hand Bound Unused Black Pages Early 1900s

Original early twentieth-century Duluth souvenir photograph album with black mounting pages, decorative floral cover, and original ribbon binding.

$23.95

Capture the charm of early twentieth-century travel with this original "Snap Shots" souvenir photograph album from Duluth, Minnesota. Featuring an attractive Arts & Crafts-era floral design, decorative typography, scenic illustration, and its original brown ribbon binding, this unused album was intended to hold personal snapshots from visits to one of Minnesota's most popular destinations. The interior retains its original black mounting pages, making it an appealing display piece for collectors of antique photography, Minnesota memorabilia, travel souvenirs, or vintage ephemera.

Measuring approximately 8 5/8 inches by 6 inches, the album remains unused, with the black photo pages intact and free of photographs. Please note that the album experienced moisture exposure after being inadvertently stored in an unheated garage for approximately two years. As a result, the covers exhibit warping, age toning, staining, and surface wear, while paper has adhered to the inside front and rear covers with associated paper loss. The decorative front cover graphics remain attractive, the original ribbon binding is present, and the album displays well despite the condition issues. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.

This album comes from my family's long-preserved collection and has never been sourced from estate sales or auctions. It offers an increasingly difficult-to-find example of an authentic early Duluth souvenir album and would make a wonderful addition to a collection of Minnesota history, antique photograph albums, travel memorabilia, or vintage paper ephemera.
